Lenka Kovačovská *1982

Chairman of the Supervisory Board since 19 July 2017
Graduated at University of Economics, Prague. In 2007 – 2013 she worked for the Czech transmission system operator, company ČEPS, where she was responsible for strategy. Since 2013 she works for Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic where she was responsible for state energy strategy and strategic planning in the energy sector as such, international (bilateral and multilateral) cooperation in energy related affairs and recently for energy statistics. Besides she was a lecturer specialising on energy commodities market Faculty of Finance at the University of Economics, Prague. Since December 2015 she serves as a deputy minister responsible for energy sector.

Václav Novák *1950

Graduated at the Brno Masaryk University, Faculty of Law, specialization Law and Legal Science. Then graduated at Prague Charles University, Faculty of Law in Ph.D. programme, specialization Corporate Social Politics. Currently works as lawyer.

Pavla Sluková *1968

Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board since 19 July 2017
She graduated from the University of Economics, Finance and Finance Services major under the Economic Policy and Administration study program. She passed the accredited examination for the work “Liquidator, Liquidator – Insolvency Administrator”. In 2000 she joined the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic as the Deputy Minister. She has gained managerial experience in the field of corporate finance and management as a member of
the governing bodies of companies operating under the Ministry of Finance (member of
the Board of Directors of THERMAL-F, a.s., member of the Supervisory Board of Škodaexport, a.s., Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PA EXPORT, a.s., member of the Supervisory Board of Strojimport, a.s.). In 2009–2011, she worked as an administrative and security director at the engineering company ALTA, a.s. and was a member of its Supervisory Board. On April 1, 2011, she started working for the Czech Export Bank as advisor to the CEO. As of February 1, 2014, she joined the Ministry of Industry and Trade as Director of the Cabinet of the Minister. On November 1, 2015, she was appointed Deputy Minister of the Property and Legal Aid Section. Her responsibilities include founding activities and equity participation, legal aid and public procurement methodology, the Office of the Ministry and the area of marketing and communication.

Jan Drahota *1974

Member of the Supervisory Board since 14 November 2014
Studied at the University of Economics in Prague, Faculty of Finance and Accounting and is graduate of the Executive MBA program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Most of his professional career Jan spent in the area of investment banking both in the Czech Republic and abroad, currently provides independent corporate finance and capital markets advisory services.

Martin Kaňok *1973

Member of the Supervisory Board appointed based on a nomination by the Company employees since 1 June 2015
Graduate of the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, majored in Production and Distribution of Electricity. He works for ČEPS in the Department of Technical Policy.

František Kostka *1960

Member of the Supervisory Board since 10 January 2016
Graduated at the Charles University, Faculty of General Medicine, he currently works as independent physician at the Military University Hospital in Prague.

Karel Koubek *1975

Member of the Supervisory Board appointed based on a nomination by the Company employees since 18 February 2014
A graduate of the Electrical Engineering High School in Hluboká nad Vltavou, with specialisation in heavy-current and distributing facilities (very high voltage and extra high voltage substations).
He currently works at ČEPS as Permanent Operation Specialist (the Technical Supervision Centre).  

Vladimír Sklenář *1944

Member of the Supervisory Board since 15 September 2014
He graduated from the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. He currently works in the Department of Ownership Participation at the Ministry
of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.

Petr Vaněk *1963

Member of the Supervisory Board appointed based on a nomination by the Company employees since 17 May 2016
A graduate of the University of Economics in Prague, Faculty of Economics, Economic Statistics major. In 2009 and 2010 he was a member of the Board of Directors of ČEPS, a.s. Currently, he is the head of the Economics Section.
