In order to maintain electricity quality, the following technical and organisational tools are employed:

• maintenance of the summary power reserve for the provision of primary frequency control;
• secondary load/frequency control;
• secondary voltage control;
• tertiary voltage control;
• retaining the sinusoidal shape of the voltage waveform and
• ensuring transmission stability;

The criteria for electricity quality assessment are based on current technical standards.
